my first and only snow kite. having to spend time snowboarding while waiting for wind which was not 25knots i managed a morning on the snow. was crusing on the sonic in 8 knots. helped by the fact that the wind was blowing up the slope so any lull meant i went up wind!. cruised around hopping over fences. shame there was still so much ice about after all the snow. sections of lovely powder then hard ice rather like kiting in chop. finished hoping to go out later but after 10minutes the wind and rain picked up to over 30knots infact so much i couldn't stand up with the sonic parked and depowered.
a fantastic holiday spent mainly on the piste at least my snowboarding has improved quite a bit.
